I liked the idea of this book more than the reality of it. It was fun that she invented a game of romance and then got caught up in it herself. You know, it was OK. Caroline Cooney is a really good writer, though. In the Girl Who Invented Romance, by Caroline B. Cooney, the main character, Kelly, invented a game of romance for a class assignment. The assignment was to show the way boys and girls differed and were similar, but Kelly's project, after many failed attempts, rose and showed the many sides of romance, and the different views from different genders.
